How the birthday deal works

Bring at least four guests and the birthday person throws free. Only the birthday person is free, so a group of six pays for five. The birthday must fall within two weeks of the booking, and the birthday person shows ID at check-in.

Kids and family birthdays

Hatchet House is family friendly. There is no strict age limit, but the venue recommends throwers be at least 10 with a parent's permission, so they have the strength to stick the axe; restrictions may apply at peak and evening times. Kids under 12 throw for $12 for 60 minutes.

Every lane is fully enclosed with floor-to-ceiling fencing, one axe flies at a time, and a coach gives the group a safety and technique briefing before the first throw.
